Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging services with Richmond Hypnosis Center, Inc. By scheduling an appointment, using our website, or communicating with our office, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Richmond Hypnosis Center stands behind the quality and effectiveness of our work. We are proud to offer the following guarantees to our clients:
We offer a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee to clients who attend their first scheduled session and, before leaving that session, express to us their belief that they were not hypnotized. This guarantee applies to first sessions only and must be requested before the client leaves the session.
We offer a lifetime support guarantee to smoking cessation clients who attend all of their scheduled sessions. If you do not quit smoking in the allotted sessions, you may return for free additional reinforcement sessions until you do quit. And if you ever start smoking again at any point in the future, you may return to us at no charge until you quit again — for life.
If you gain weight within the first 30 days of quitting smoking, we will provide hypnosis sessions to help you take that weight off — at no charge — until you succeed.
We guarantee that Gold and Platinum Program weight loss clients who attend all of their scheduled appointments will reach their goal weight within the time allotted. If you do not, we will continue providing monthly hypnosis reinforcement sessions at no additional charge for as long as it takes until you succeed.
All guarantees are subject to the client attending all scheduled appointments as agreed. Missed or cancelled sessions without proper notice may void applicable guarantees. See Section 05 for our cancellation policy.
Comments made by former clients, students, trainees, and business associates are true, factual, and documented. Richmond Hypnosis Center (RHC), its officers and assigns do not imply, suggest, or claim these comments represent a typical result. Results vary depending on age, gender, lifestyle, physical activity, and individual commitment and motivation to achieve a desired result.
Comments have been collected over a ten-year period. RHC makes no claim or intent to represent comments and reviews as current. Each comment and review is one person's opinion given at a specific time and should only be considered in that context and not as an example of current experience.
Richmond Hypnosis Center educates and coaches clients in various types of self-hypnosis interventions customized to individual needs. Services may include training in directive, non-directive, and indirect hypnosis, as well as education and coaching in:

Our services are complementary wellness services and do not constitute the practice of medicine, psychology, psychotherapy, or any other licensed healthcare profession. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
Our services are available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Clients under 18 may be seen only with written consent and the presence of a parent or legal guardian, at the practitioner's discretion.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee as outlined in your service agreement.
We reserve the right to discontinue services with any client at our professional discretion, with reasonable notice provided.
Success depends on clients keeping all scheduled appointments, listening to their included hypnosis recordings, and following lifestyle change advice provided by their therapist. Everyone is different as to the number of sessions required to succeed.
For context: a traditional psychologist might ask for 60 or more sessions for a similar goal and keep a client in treatment for years. Hypnosis tends to work much faster — a hypnotherapist can often help clients succeed in just 3–12 sessions depending on the goal and individual. It is to your advantage to stick with the program and follow your therapist's recommendations until you completely succeed.

Please understand that it is impossible to guarantee the behavior of another human being. Individual commitment and motivation are significant factors in achieving a desired result.
Payment is due at the time of service unless a payment plan has been agreed upon in advance and documented in a signed service agreement.
Richmond Hypnosis Center does not issue refunds under any circumstances except as described in Section 01 (Our Guarantees). Sometimes there are more complex psychological issues at work and mental health counseling beyond the scope of Richmond Hypnosis Center's practice may be needed. In such cases, we will make every effort to refer you to an appropriate provider.
All information shared during sessions is held in strict confidence. We will not disclose your personal or session information to any third party without your written consent, except in the following circumstances:
By providing your mobile phone number to Richmond Hypnosis Center, you consent to receive SMS text messages related to your appointments, session follow-ups, and scheduling. Examples include appointment reminders, missed call notifications with scheduling links, and follow-up wellness messages.
We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
All content provided by Richmond Hypnosis Center — including written materials, audio recordings, video resources, and session recordings — is the intellectual property of Richmond Hypnosis Center, Inc. and Larry Volz. These materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, sold, or redistributed without prior written permission.
Richmond Hypnosis Center, Inc. and Larry Volz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Henrico County, Virginia.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
